February 17, 2008 Newsletters in English and updated catalogue. Our CD catalogue has been updated with the newest releases (from Fall 2007) and we will be posting more current newsletters in English soon. Please check back for those. Thank you for your patience! October 3, 2006 English catalogue updated! The CD catalogue in English has finally been updated with 2006 releases. Archived 2005 newsletters have also been added to the Newsletters section. Please keep your eye out for more updates as we continue to expand the site.

We participated in Aki Matsuri (Fall Festival) at Bellevue Community College on September 10 and 11. Thank you to the many people that stopped by our booth to say hello and have a look at our CDs!

2005 We are in the middle of updating the website... The Japanese site is mostly up-to-date now (with a Newsletter section), and the English site will be updated with new information as the webmaster gets the translations done. A Newsletter section for the English site will be up soon as well.

2005 On January 17, we had our first meeting of the year. Each member presented their favorite readings and their hopes for the group in the new year. We are looking forward to expanding our services and making more recordings to add to our library. Thank you for your continuous support.

October 24, 2004 Voice Library in Japanese was established in April 2004 because of our desire to bring the joy and comfort of the native language of Japanese to the elderly, ill and disabled. Although our activities have just begun, the recording, producing and renting of audio recordings are all done by volunteers of the organization. We hope to produce 40 new books on CD per year. We are seeking donations from companies, groups and individuals to support our activities. The donations may be monetary, but any equipment such as computers, printers, recording devices, CD players to be lent out, and any other appropriate devices will be gratefully accepted. Please help support our activities, which aim to respond to the desire to read. Call or e-mail Voice Library in Japanese regarding your donation.
